Qatar's service market is vast and diverse, spanning home maintenance and healthcare, tutoring, beauty, and automotive repair. But finding a reliable provider you can trust with your home, your family, or your vehicle remains a common challenge. Here are five tips that make the search easier.
1. Start with verified reviews, not just star ratings. A five-star average on a listing with two reviews tells you very little. Look for providers with dozens or hundreds of reviews across multiple dimensions: quality, punctuality, communication, and value for money. Verified reviews from real customers are far more useful than a generic score.
2. Check for a verified badge. Platforms like Qunzia verify providers by checking trade licenses, commercial registrations, and identity documents. A verified badge signals that the business is legitimate and has passed a basic compliance check, a meaningful filter in a market where informal operators are common.
3. Ask about the specific service, not just the category. A cleaning company that excels at post-construction deep cleans may not be the right choice for a regular weekly visit. Before booking, describe your exact situation and ask whether they have experience with it. A trustworthy provider will give you an honest answer rather than overpromise.
4. Get the price in writing before work begins. Verbal quotes can shift unexpectedly. Whether you communicate by WhatsApp, app, or phone, always confirm the total price in writing before any work starts. Reputable providers are comfortable doing this; hesitation is a warning sign.
5. Use the AI concierge to shortlist. Contacting multiple providers to compare availability, pricing, and approach takes time. Qunzia's AI concierge can call up to ten providers on your behalf, ask your questions, and return a summary, so you can make an informed choice in minutes rather than hours.
